Photosynth Ad Campaign

Objective: Create an Imaging based advertisement that promotes Microsoft's new Photosynth technology, which creates an interactive 3D viewing experience from nothing more than a bunch of photos. As usual, no stock photography may be used.
Global Warming Ad Campaign

Objective: Design a campaign that will make all of us wonder what we can do as individuals to change the outcome of Global Warming. As usual, no stock photography may be used.
Experimental Portraitures

Objective: Your Digital Imaging midterm is to take three portraits and create some repeatable style among them. For this particular project my repeatable style has been to turn the subject into a porcelain doll. As usual, no stock photography may be used.
A World Within

Objective: For this week's Digital Imaging 2 project you'll be placing a city, a building, an island, or a complex object of your choice inside of something transparent. This could be a bubble, a snow globe, or even a cage. As usual, no stock photography may be used.
RVCA (Full Media Campaign)
Semester: 3
Primary Application Used: Combination of Apps
Objective: For our seven week final, we will be redesigning the identity for RVCA. It is an international clothing company. The full media campaign will include a new logo, stationary (business card, letterhead, business envelope), catalog, clothing tags, shopping bags, web comp, environmental signage, and a magazine ad.
Hemispheres Magazine and Advertisement
Semester: 3
Primary Application Used: QuarkXpress
Objective: Design and produce a five page magazine spread for 'Hemispheres' magazine. You will also have to create a print ad which advertises the upcoming article. Use the provided copy, your choice of visuals is extremely important as well as your typeface choices. You are required to create and or shoot your own visuals.
Hindsights Book Cover Jacket Design
Semester: 3
Primary Application Used: QuarkXpress
Objective: Design and produce a Book Cover Jacket for Guy Kawasaki's new book 'Hindsights'. You must import and use the provided text. Your choice of visuals are extremely important, as well as your typeface choices. Your choice of paper as a design element is also paramount in this project.
Haagen-Dazs (Advertisement)
Semester: 3
Primary Application Used: QuarkXpress
Objective: Design and produce two magazine ads for the 'Häagen-Dazs' campaign. The idea behind this first project is to get you used to Quark, and to start working with its toolsets. You must also use the provided text file and logo in your advertisements.
Fountainhead (Advertisement)

Objective: Your job is to promote a new website called Fountainhead. This site acts as an online community for Photoshop users, both amateur and creative professionals alike.
Nut Job (Advertisement)

Objective: Your job is to promote and sell walnuts by demonstrating their perfection in both physical beauty and healthful qualities on behalf of the client, The California Walnut Growers. Besides being tasty, eating walnuts protects arteries from heart disease and improves bone health. Miracles in a shell, really. Walnuts are an important California product.
